Hover, click, paste — the small feature that saves retyping phone numbers, web keys and file URLs.

1Copying without selecting

Lots of values in ClientTether are things you need somewhere else: a phone number into a dialler, a web key into a form, a public file URL into a template. Click to copy puts them on your clipboard in one click, with no dragging to select.

2How it works

  • Hover over a value that supports it — the text turns green and a small bubble says it can be copied.
  • Click it. A successfully copied confirmation appears at the right of the screen.
  • Paste with Ctrl+V, or right-click and choose Paste.

3Where you’ll meet it

Contact details on a profile, the account’s web key and API access token in Settings → API, the public URL of a file, a hosted page’s URL, and tokens picked from a token list — those are copied to the clipboard rather than inserted, so you can paste them wherever you need.

If nothing turns green

Not every value is copyable, and browsers block clipboard access on pages that aren’t focused. Click into the page first, then hover.
