Angi Ads & Angi Leads
Two endpoints, two lead sources, and why the integration beats parsing Angi’s emails.
On this page
1Two Angi connections
Angi reaches ClientTether two ways, and accounts often have both:
| Integration | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Angi Ads | Leads from Angi’s advertising products. |
| Angi Leads (formerly HomeAdvisor) | Leads from the HomeAdvisor lead marketplace. |
2Setting either up
Both work the same way. On the integration’s Settings tab you’ll find a unique endpoint — a URL belonging to your account. Give that to Angi, and their system posts leads straight into ClientTether. Then choose:
- The lead source incoming leads are filed under. Angi Leads offers two: one for leads that arrive With an Appointment and one for Without an Appointment.
- Check Duplicate — leave it on. Marketplaces resend.
Use the integration, not a parser
You can parse Angi’s lead emails, but Angi changes their format often and a parser needs re-tuning every time. The endpoint doesn’t. See Email Parser for where parsers do make sense.
3Speed matters here
Marketplace leads are sold to several businesses at once and the first to respond usually wins. Attach a Connection Plan whose first step is immediate — a text within a minute of the lead arriving. See Action Plans.
4Troubleshooting
Leads stopped arriving
Confirm Angi still has the current endpoint, and that the chosen lead source still exists. Check the API Monitor for rejected calls.
Every lead is a duplicate
Duplicate checking is doing its job — check the existing contacts rather than the integration.
