Tie CompanyCam job photos to the right ClientTether contact with an access token and a naming convention.

1Photos where the job is

CompanyCam is where crews take job photos. The integration ties those photos to the ClientTether contact, so the office can see the site without asking anyone to email pictures.

2Setting it up

  • Enable the add-on, then open Settings → CompanyCam.
  • Paste your CompanyCam Access Token.
  • Set the project naming convention — this is what decides which CompanyCam project matches which ClientTether contact, so pick something that’s always available, such as the contact name plus address.

Get the naming convention right first

Projects created before the convention was set won’t match. Decide it once, at the start, and tell the crews — renaming projects retroactively is far more work than agreeing the format.

3Troubleshooting

Photos aren’t appearing against a contact

The CompanyCam project name doesn’t match the convention, or the access token has expired.
